He has also been associated with Mergers and Acquisitions matters and supervised statutory compliance, credit control and recovery procedures in a variety of industries
Prior to joining KHIL, Kurian was a Director at SES technologies Ltd, where he was actively involved into the Senior Management's process towards effective execution of business plans and have always emphasized on providing reliable and timely financial information, operational analysis & strategic recommendations
Kurian holds a bachelor's degree in Commerce from K.J. Somaiya College of arts & commerce, Bombay University and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

Mr. Anil Paranjpe (VP

Anil Paranjpe, who has been working as the Vice President Operations, The Orchid, Mumbai since October 08, has been associated with the hospitality industry for the last three decades. During this period he has been exposed to all the facets of the hospitality industry and has been able to achieve success in every single assignment he was entrusted upon. Throughout this long and uphill journey he has studied the growing arc of the hospitality sector as a keen student. At the same time he has also seen his career grow from strength to strength.
Earlier he was associated with the Landmark group, Dubai as VP Hotel's Business division. His responsibilities with the real estate major included project planning of hotels, identifying potential operator for the hotel, facilitate JV's with potential operators, standardization of SOP's for the hotels etc. Prior to it he also worked as a General Manager at Jaypee Vasant Continental, New Delhi. He rose to Vice President Operations in the organization and left the group in Aug 06.
He started his career at Hotel President Mumbai in 1978 and had a 24-year-long stint with the Taj. In the first ten years at Hotel President he rose from a cashier to assistant front office manager. From there he was transferred to Taj Holiday village, Goa as a front office manager. In 1991 he held the position of a Executive Assistant Manager at Taj Pamodzi, Zambia .
In 1995 he was transferred to Rambagh palace, Jaipur as a Resident Manager, later he was promoted as a General Manager, Jai Mahal Palace, Jaipur. In the year 1999 he bagged the prestigious assignment of his career, when he was chosen by the Taj management to open Taj Hari Mahal, Jodhpur. He worked there till Jan, 02.
Currently he is working as the VP Operations with The Orchid, Mumbai. Besides providing key inputs in the hotel operations, he is also responsible for supervising the upcoming projects of the group under the Orchid brand. He had to deal with the worst crisis of his career in the aftermath of 26/11 terrorist attack. The occupancy levels and the room revenues took a nose dive. He used his team building and management skills to ensure that the hotel survived the financial crisis. Due to his unrelenting approach, he along with his team has been able to put the Orchid on the path of recovery.
Mr. Ramesh Aidasani (VP Operations VITS & Lotus )
An ever enthusiastic and dynamic leader has a career span of
over thirty years, with over nineteen years as General Manager. A consistent
performer with a proven track record of increasing revenues and streamlining
workflow, he's been associated with our group since April 2008. He joined
VITS Mumbai as General Manager, and was appointed as VP-Operations for VITS
& Lotus in January 2009.
